A ransomware attack can be an existential threat to companies â affecting SMEs, large corporations and supply chains alike. In the bilateral German-Austrian research project CONTAIN, universities, companies, associations and public authorities worked together to make the response to cyber incidents more effective and more efficient: through targeted preparation, proven processes and clear decision-making procedures for emergencies.
SBCF & Cie. was a member of the research consortium and contributed in particular the business management perspective â from securing liquidity in a crisis to the resilience of supply chains. The insights gained from CONTAIN feed directly into our advisory work today, particularly at the interface of business continuity management and corporate finance.
Serious Game
„Don't get hacked“
As part of CONTAIN, SBCF & Cie. developed the serious game âHack dich nichtâ (âDon't get hackedâ): a game-based training format that allows teams to practise managing a cyber incident â including decision-making under pressure, communication and crisis organisation.
